Honourable Gordon Hogg

Honourable Gordon Hogg, Liberal MLA, was the master of ceremonies, and BC Lions Alumni came out to support and participate in a Scholarship Fundraiser / Golf Tournament Sunday April 26th at the Hazelmere Golf and Country Club. Westside Photography was hired to capture the highlights of the day. The sun was shining and the patio buzzing as the chefs were busy preparing a feast for this hungry crowd. This fundraiser was a big success!

Real Estate Home Staging

Recently this Kitsilano area home stager required Westside's services for his latest project. Not only was the floor plan spectacular, but the 234 SF master bedroom looked out at the North Shore mountains, with an ocean view. The house was stunning but the professional designer touches made it inviting. Linda and I appreciate attention to detail and the variety of shooting challenges that come with high dynamic range photography.

Adelle and Jeremy

Tonight we photographed engagement photos for Adelle and Jeremy. They are getting married this summer at a winery in Kelowna. I'm looking forward to this as a "mini" destination wedding.
Tonight we roamed Yaletown using shop windows, old buildings and even a new Mini convertible for our props.
What fun!

The Wedding of Erin and Martin

Thank you so much to Erin and Martin for letting us share in their celebration…the day turned out absolutely beautiful!

They were married at the Burnaby Village Chapel and reception was at the Eagle Creek Golf Course.

This couple is deeply loved by their family and friends. What a wonderful wedding!

What a lovely bride.

Thanks to a family friend the bride and groom were travelling in style.

This was the best cake topper I've seen in a while!

This chapel brought back memories. I was a bridesmaid at the Burnaby Village Chapel when I was only 14.

Big Kahuna Rams Sports Company

Recently the Big Kahuna Rams Sports Company hosted the Top Prospects Meet and Greet at the Hazelmere Golf and Country Club. There was a great turnout including CEO, executives, coaches and players. Westside came out to capture the atmosphere of anticipation for a great season. At 5' 3" I held my own in this husky crowd, while shooting some of the mixing and mingling. Stay tuned for a glimpse of headshots coming June during Spring training Camp...Judy

Sunny Sunday with Sam and Ashley

Last Sunday I hit the beach with my daughter Ashley and her friend Sam. We were all buzzing with joy and expectancy for the summer days ahead...

Waiting for Summer

While I look forward to waking to the sound of birds at dawn, and longer days, these two teenagers were entertaining lofty thoughts about ice cream flavours, summer fashions, flip flops and boys...(well, maybe not in that order).

Jenn and Derek's Engagement Session

Tonight we had a great time with Jenn and Derek. They are getting married in August and I'm so happy to be a part of their day. They are the sweetest couple; although they did try to trick me by telling me that they weren't photogenic at the start of the shoot.
The session came to a close as the sun went down under the Mission bridge (and a train bridge nearby). Thank goodness we made it back to our cars just before the park gates were locked up.

Wow! Is all I can say about this one!

Derek really wanted one on the train bridge. It was so dark our cameras could hardly focus. Would you believe that this shot is hand held for 1.6 seconds!???? I love the lights and sky in the background.

Opening of the New Langley Events Centre

Premier Gordon Campbell had the honour of officially opening the new Langley Events Centre with the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon.

Judy and I had been eyeing these foam pits all day. They looked like so much fun. When the premier arrived he must have had the same thoughts...

Ready... Get set...

From Garden to Grunge

I'm really looking forward to Kristina & Andrew's wedding in August. We had a great time exploring the streets of New Westminster tonight and also Friendship Park to find just the right spots for the perfect shots. They've taken dancing lessons and I was excited that they would dance for me and go along (read... humor me) with some of my crazy ideas.

The photos are super fun… here are just a few, can’t wait to share the rest!
