Mackenzie and Ethan at the Beach

Today was a beautiful day. Still pretty cold and windy as usual for this time of year, but at least it didn't rain.

I photographed Mackenzie and Ethan at Crescent beach. They had a lot of fun and I'm sure Machenzie is going to grow up to be an actress. She wowed me with her awesome Madonna moves and definitely knew how to strike a pose. LOL

Fraser River Fishing Lodge

Kim and Aaron who are both avid fly fishermen are getting married in July at the Fraser River Fishing Lodge. (Stay tuned for their awesome fly fishing trash the dress session!) I was up in Harrison for the past few days enjoying the Hot Springs in the rain with my family. I snuck away for a few minutes to scout out the nearby venue.

To my shock I was met face to face with this guy when I arrived! Thank goodnes he was behind a fence, but the wire looked pretty flimsy in comparison to his huge size. I was careful not to make any sudden movements.

The venue looks great and will definately have interesting photo ops!

Julie and Shane Just Hanging Out at Home

Julie and Shane are engaged. Today for fun we captured them relaxing at their new house.

Julie and her ring are both stunning. Shane's not too bad either. ;-) Congratulations and all the best to you both!

First Wedding of the Season

Yesterday Dom and Diana were married. It was a beautiful Catholic ceremony followed by the Baptism of their son. Many family members had flown all the way from Ireland to witness their union.

The skies were grey and it rained, but no one let this dampen their spirits. Overcast skies can produce some of the most wonderful light... take a look.

Congrats Dom & Diana! Thanks for being such a great couple to work with.

Vancouver - The Perfect Destination

This past season we had clients located as far away as Kansas and Ireland find us via the internet and book. One couple had never been to Vancouver before, but wanted to be married here (they even asked us to pick the ceremony location!!). It truly is a beautiful city with so many great spots for romantic ceremonies and beautiful photography.

If you are from out of town (or across the ocean) don't hesitate about contacting us for your wedding photography!

Miniature Boats

We also had some time on our hands this weekend and decided to create a miniature model of Granville Island and surrounding area. Whew!! We're tired!!

Or maybe we had a tilt shift lens in our possession and was able to create this neat effect in camera?

Home Staging / Commercial Real Estate Shoot

This past weekend Judy and I photographed a beautiful house that is for sale in Vancouver.

The house was staged and we took before and after photographs for the stager's portfolio and realtors advertisements. This house is stunning and if you need a great stager we can hook you up!

Handsome Isaiah

Judy photographed this handsome young man a couple weeks ago. I just love his beautiful smile and the amazing colors.

Working her poise for the camera comes natural for this statuesque beauty. Here's the first few shots. Good luck with your modelling career, Lindsay! .... Judy

Spring is in the Air

Today I had the pleasure of photographing these angelic siblings. As the promise of spring was in the air, so was their jubilant play. Here is a glimpse... Judy
